Mr. Gates made some fine points there.

Being in school and one of the ner...er..."intelligent" people, I like Rule 11 (did I say 12?) quite a bit.

    Great stuff.

Being a teacher I have to agree to alot of what he said. Too bad the state lawmakers (lawyers, business people, etc) who have never been in a classroom since they graduated make our rules. Our kids are tested and tested repeatedly over the same nonsense K-12th. There is absolutely no individualism any longer. Dang, we all must be stupid since we went through school without political correctness. My whole life is a failure.
One of these days I hope the current "touchy, feely" nonsense will go away.
Life is tough and like I tell my special ed. students, once they leave and graduate they are in competition with the honor kids who they've been kept away from. There are no more laws, classes, etc. to " protect" them.

Wow. That was fantastic. SOLID points and perfect advice.

I would write more praise, but I fear that at any moment my computer may crash and I will have lost any unsaved information.

All ribbing aside, I have new respect for Gates if he said THAT.
