Sorry Patriots fans, but your team is gonna get run. Pitt has the only D that could've even put up a fight. Don't get me wrong, I hope the Patriots part the Red Sea and beat the Rams and their fucking traitor bitch owner. Unfortunately, it ain't gonna happen. At least we got playmate Fear Factor at halftime.

Pitt had the only D? Wrong!

Patriots held the best running TEAM in football to what like 20 total yards?

The Patriots "D" held the highest scoring team to only 24 points and I believe 7 of them came off an interception.

Mike Martz gambles too much and you just can't do that against the Patriots. The Pats play a "COMPLETE" game. Offense, defense & special teams.

We had 15 penalties (many big ones) against the Steelers and still won the game.

Now the Patriots (still can't bring myself to call them the Pats or Patsy's or anything - femininity has no place in football) did deserve to win yesterday, I'll give you that. But please, don't talk about their offensive power; their special teams won the game yesterday. They scored, what, like 10 points offensively yesterday? Please!!

Thats exactly what I mean.
I don't know if you follow them or not like I do, but thats how they have won all year long.
Some games the offense shines and carries them, other times its been the defense that gets a crucial tornover to win a game or a special teams play. They win as a team.
They make it hard for a team to prepare for them because the oppostion can't concentrate on just shutting down one aspect of them. Because some other unit will then beat you.

The conversation when the playoffs started went a lot like this:

"Who's gonna be in the Super Bowl?"
"St. Louis."
"...and...?"
"Doesn't matter."

Still feel the same way. Don't get me wrong; I'll be pulling for New England the whole game... hopefully they can keep it interesting... but I think they're heading for 0-3 in the big one.

How you can decide what the Super Bowl is going to be before it's even been played is beyond me. I've seen plenty of Super Bowls, I've seen some that should've been great matchups based on the teams involved that were over by the 1st quarter and I've seen others that looked on paper like you should already know the outcome that were actually entertaining and riveting. I hope everyone does discount the Patriots and looks for a very lopsided outcome. These guys seem nothing if not tenacious when they've been written off.

The Rams are the best team in the NFL, end of story. They have the best offense (even with a banged up Warner) and a defense that makes plays now.

The Pats scored ONE offensive touchdown against the Steelers, and there is NO WAY on earth they will beat the Rams doing that, the Rams just put up too many points.

I am not discounting what the Pats did this season, they had a miraculous year, but the road ends in New Orleans for them. The Rams just have too much firepower.

It's not like the Rams played that well against Philly, they didn't. I'm sure they will step it this weekend.

Well, anything can happen - I never thought the ol' Buccaneers would beat St. Louis with their blase offense, but they did, and if the planets align right and all that, the Patriots could, too! Hey, put Brady 'n Bledsoe in at the same time - maybe that'll work!

I love it! Again no one is giving the Pats a chance in this one even though we have shown that we can hang tough against the Rams already this year. And don't tell me that the Rams didn't play well in that game, Warner had over 400 yards passing, if anything the Pats did not play well they fumbled the ball on the goaline and Brady had at least one and if I remember corectly two interceptions. Somehow though all you guys have a crystal ball and know that the Rams are going to put it all together and pound the Patriots in this one, well we'll just see about that! Yep but they beat the Bucs when it counts. The Rams achilles heel is turnovers and pressuring Warner. You do that, and they are beatable. You let Warner sit back for there 6 or 7 seconds and pick you apart, it's over.

PD - That game was in Foxboro, the Rams were flat coming off a bad loss, and again, they turned the ball over! Warner had 2 INT's himself and those were big plays in that game too. Point is, they won the game and won on the road and took control in the second half no less. Nobody said the Pats were AWFUL, they're just not better than the Rams, and if you think they proved it by not getting blown at home, that's silly.
