A guy at work gave me this head's up.

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com

Cheap DVDs, free shipping.

One thing I noticed, is that Schindler's List isn't on here.

As a matter of fact, it's not even out on DVD!!

What the hell is that all about? This movie was apparently great, and it's not on DVD.

That sucks.

I wonder why?

I ended up buying 3.

Eight Men Out
John Wayne's "El Durado"
John Wayne's "Rio Bravo"

I spent about 45 bucks for it, free shipping!

That's a great deal.
CHICAGO WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD CHAMPIONS

The Chicago White Sox (1901-present) - The Original SOX - Proof

The Boston Americans (1901)
The Boston Somersets (1902)
The Boston Pilgrims (1903-1906)
The Boston Red Sox (1907-present) - Proof

The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.

Columbia House has 5 DVDs for 26 bucks or something. But there's a commitment involved. Here, you buy as you please, free shipping.

Most DVDs run about 20 bucks in the stores. Some as high as 30. I've seen a lot of 24.99 too.

One of the DVDs I got there for 14 bucks. That IS cheap.

Very few of Spielberg's movies have been released on DVD, so Schindler's List is no surprise. Jaws was finally released a year or two ago.

He's probably waiting to cull together a quality DVD release rather than putting out 10 versions to soak up extra money, like George Luca$.
"There's a Japanese term called wabi-sabi, not wasabi, but wabi-sabi. It means an appreciation for the imperfect, the less than precision. The cowboy boots that you never polish because it's bad luck. That is completely wabi-sabi. Van Halen is that." - DLR 2002<br /><br />"Look! I can see their parachutes! They're ok..." - Tenshinhan, DragonBall Z

I don't buy many movies, but most of the older (3 years or more) ones I get are around $10. Some rarer movies are more, and the newer releases are more.

I guess so. My local Wal-Mart has a huge rack of DVDs -- some new releases -- for $9.97 (the same VHS cassettes for $5.97), and most of their "regularly"-priced DVDs are $14.97.

I also check the used DVDs at a local record/video game store chain...$5-10 per disc. And they have a 24-hour return policy in case there's a malfunctioning or bad disc. If you find a flick you want, you can't beat that.

What pisses me off is that many great or classic movies aren't obtainable on DVD, but Burt Reynolds' "masterpiece" Stroker Ace is.

My sister works for blockbuster. I only pay like $7-$10. I'm not a big movie guy though, so it's worthless for me

I'm not a big movie guy either. But I enjoy going to see a movie every now and then, and getting the popcorn.

Some of the movies are so worth owning though.
