So what's everybody reading? I got a copy of Tom Clancy's The Bear and The Dragon for xmas, and it seems pretty good so far. I'm about 1/5 of the way through it, and the plot hasn't completely developed yet--but that's normal for Clancy. The guy gets wordier with every novel he writes, it seems.

I am just about to start "Imajica" by Clive Barker. Has anyone read it? What do you think?

I'm reading Light My Fire-My Life With the Doors by Ray Manzarek right now. I've read it before and he comes off as a really annoying guy I have to say. Like every paragraph has to prove that he's artistic or something.

I'm an avid reader of Mopar Muscle magazine as well as Mopar Collector's Guide. I really have got to be interested in a book to want to read it. I don't read many novels. That sounds odd coming from a school teacher, but true. I think the main reason was my jr. and sr. years of high school and college. Over analysis of books bothers me. Anyone remember Scarlet Letter, Canterbury Tales, or Walden? I can see that mean ol' Mrs. Meigs now.
Better yet what was your favorite book of all time? Huck Finn and Where the red fern grows have always left a lasting impression on me.

Picked up a copy of Lennon in American by Geoffrey Guiliano (spelling). Great read!

MikeL, you read Jack Higgins (The Eagle Has Landed and The Eagle Has Flown) or Jack D. Hunter (The Blue Max trilogy)? Great stuff.
