Finally hit the driving range this week for the first time this year. I'm gearing up to take Pops out golfing on father's day.

Tiger definitely isn't out of it. If he makes it to Saturday, he's dangerous no matter what.

Hey Seen, how far do you hit a driver off the tee? Not how far it rolls, just how far you can hit it in the air?

Usually about 230-235 in the air with consistancy. Somtimes I take it back a little more though. I'm not real huge off the tee. I'm pretty sure about the accuracy of that since the fairways (or rough) I play on is pretty soft (bent grass) and doesnt produce much roll. It feels pretty good when I find a place on hard pan and get that extra 60-70 yds. :egoboost:

first off since GREG NORMAN turned into VH i quit watching golf. well i probably won't get out this year too expensive and no fun golfing by yourself. last year my drive would hit about 10 feet in front of me and roll about fifty yards, needless to say it wasn't fun. if i killed it i could probably get 250 out of it roll and all. i haven't been able to find a driver i'm comfortable with. oh yeah most courses i play have no fairway just varying degrees of rough.

I'd just like to see a Sunday when the outcome is still in doubt on the back nine. And since Tiger is playing like he is from Earth so far, I may be in luck. LOL. Out.

I agree track. I always love a tight leaderboard on the back. Last year wasnt fun at all, it was like "oh tiger got another birdie, whats that? like 13 strokes he's up now? "

He's been in this spot before though and pulled it off. I watched him win his third amature championship in person under similar conditions only match play. Dude just wierd.

Looks like it should be a close final day, but Tiger isn't likely to be a factor.

    I hope Sergio takes it.

I totally admire the skills of Tiger but its good to know that he's human too. I've always liked Mickelson (since his wife is from here) and Duval. Would love to see either of them finally break through. Don't think its gonna happen though. Time will tell. Ya never know.

I've never seen two guys get their asses wiped on 18 like I did today. Cink was heartbreaking, goosen put me over the edge. Brooks cracked me up Dude was slammin his trunk about 5 minutes after his round, hangin up his spikes, then recieves word he will be playing a little golf tomorrow as well.

Not the big names you would expect from an open leaderboard, but it sure held some excitement, damn!

So the question for goosen is, can he shake that stupid put and the crowd reaction from today? Question for Brooks is, can he get back into the Open with a competetive attitude after being so defetist after his round today?

I think Brooks has the better shot, but he wasnt acting like a champ today. Hell, Kite even stuck around until the last half hour waiting JUST IN CASE there was a possible playoff with his name on it.

    I love the U.S. Open
