I read VH had hired some Dutch cinematographer to do a documentary on their 1980 World Invasion Tour. But the footage was too damn wild and crazy and they couldnt release it!!
I read the guy's name was Snade Krellmans but I have looked up that name on the net and nothing comes up?
Did this guy exist or did someone maybe get his name wrong? Where is that fucker?

I think he was a victim of the Great Krell War of 1980. Rumor has it he was run out on a rail, because it was a fine line he had to cut, and he was killed by an eight-ball, at his favorite pool hall, the Razor's Edge.

    I know.

The band was very disappointed in the quality of the footage that was shot. Dave recommended that Snade invest his money in chicken.....the rest is international history.

    What became of Snade.

After Snade made a couple billion selling chicken parts, he grew bored and decided to open his own "Dinoland". He's contemplating whether or not to clone the 1979 era VH and give us all some kick ass Rock & Roll again....

    You go Snade!

Krell was a word used by Motley Crue according to the book called (The Dirt). It was an inside term for cocaine.

There was also a chapter in Dave's book called "Krell Wars" which talked about Ozzy, Dave and cocaine from the '78 Tour.

Krell is indeed a code word for Cocaine that Diamond Dave and VH used back in their day.
I think Motley and others picked up on that.
I'd love to know who that dutch cinematographer was and have my buddy interview him through his film website but no one seems to know the dude's name?
