THE TICKET
It seems like there are more and more Ticketheads coming out of the woodwork around here lately, so I thought I would start a thread for those of us in the loop.
Feel free to state your favorite/least favorite show, host, character, bit, sports, teams, etc., how long have you listened, where do you listen . . . whatever.
STAY HARD!

Transplant Tickethead who usually listens to everyone but Norm while I am "working"

Gotta love Fake Jerry and his predictions for this season. Drop Page kicks ass!

Friend of mine from high school actually got to do tickettickers for them and is in the works trying to get on there. I'm a big fan of the show, I always try to go to ticketstock...last year was a blast!

My only problem with the ticket is that they have bashed Sammy Hagar and Van halen during the Hardline. Couple of years back during Rangers spring training in Florida, Corby mentioned that it was mostly trailer trash in that area who listened to AC/DC and van halen.

When Sammy's newest album came out they said that it was 'awful', that they hoped the bone didn't play it..and that the type of crowd that appeals to Sammy is white trailer trash.

I love the ticket, just wish they would leave my guys alone

BTW, is the ticket syndicated nationwide?? I thought it was only local in DFW? Or are you guys listening to it off the net??

I don't think it's sydicated, but thanks to the internet it's basically available worldwide (and in the building where I work in Carrollton - bad AM reception).
I'm a Musers / Hardline guy. BaD Radio is OK and I like Hansen. I don't really dig Norm, but the guy is a drop machine - I'll give him that. I rarely listen after 7 or on the weekends.
I've been listening since shortly before the Jimmy/Jerry blow-up, so not quite a day 1er, but close.
My favorite host (if you can call him that) is probably Gordon. That guy is a f*cking genius!

Who's your favorite Corby alter-ego? Classic Rock Guy? Obvious Man? The Over-cusser? The Redundant Man of Redundancy?

Day 1, P1 here. I have been in New York for 4 1/2 years and listen via the miracle of the dual-line comrex daily. Gentle Musers and Hardline are personal favorites. I can deal with Norm but don't like BaD Radio.

Overcusser Rocks.

Pissed off the the Gentle Musers are off this week. I had to be spared to death by Norm.

And, for some reason, I'm getting commercials today on the internet broadcast and not the usual drop page radio - kind of a bummer.

Just a funny thought:

I'm a huge fan of the Fake Big Tex. My bride loves it (okay, not really) when I answer her for an hour as the Fake Big Tex.

man I can't stand Norms grating voice, I had to shut it down this morning. There is nothing worse than Norm on Monday morning hangover. Hope the Hardline isn't on vacation too dammit. Gonna be back in Big D for Christmas. Weather channel says 25-50% chance of snow. Hell 'yeah
bwt can 'yall imagine the fun the ticket would have if the big tuna comes to town! The Fake Tuna lol

I am sure that Gordo is already working on the fake Tuna - shouldn't be much of a stretch.

Elfenbein (sp?) is on right now with a VERY bitter Everson Walls.

Any idea who is on after Hansen today?

And, CML, I also hope the Hardline is on today.

I think BaD Radio is in for the Hardline until early January. After Hansen is probably the Throw Down. I haven't even turned it on yet today. No Musers + No Hardline =

Methinks I'll stay away from the Ticket on Thursday during the "Normathon".

Yikes.
