McDonald's is absolutely aweful... Along with Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, and every other fast food chain I can think of. Back before I kept Kosher, I lived on a steady diet of McCrap, and since I have adjusted my diet and cut out non-kosher food (ie: pretty much anything out there right now in the restaurant/fast food world) I feel a hell of a lot better.
McDonalds premeasures their food down to the ounce, and the mustard and ketchup is also premeasured too. What happened to giving the customer quality food, at a reasonable price that actually tasted like food!

What is a daily example of your diet now?

anybody see the Simpsons where people developed addictions to the Rib sandwhich and when it only became available in one major city at a time they followed it around on its national tour???

yeah......that was a good one.
Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

Funny there should be a topic on McDonalds. Last weekend my buddy ate two cheese burgers and ended up in the hospital on IV's because of rapid, profuse, projectile McVomit. He couldn't stop, he was hurling shit and body parts that aren't supposed to be hurled. Needless to say, he has made a vow never to eat there again.

I've never been a fan/patron to McD's. I have had less than 5 burgers from there my whole life. December 1990 was the last burger I ever had there. Now Sonic, Jack in the Box, and Whataburger is a whole different story.

i am no fast food prude. i probably eat as much fast food as the next guy (2-3 times a week). there are times when i will go to wendy's, mcdonald's, burger king, etc. and get what seems to be a fresh and appetizing meal and i have restored faith in their quality, but then there are times that i will go one too many times in a week and i will be completely repulsed and disgusted by the food i am attempting to consume. (this happens more often at mcdonald's than other fast food restaurants.) there have been time when i will walk into a fast food restaurant with the best of intentions and upon seeing the "people" that will be preparing and handling my food, i have to walk out.

here is a list of fast food restaurants that i frequent followed by a list of restaurants i avoid at all costs with the exception of an occasional uncontrollable urge.

"the good"

wendy's
burger king
mcdonald's
nathan's
taco bell
boston market
ranch 1

"the bad"

KFC
checkers
blimpies
subway
pizza hut

Subway is notorious for putting rancid lettuce on subs. A friend who used to work there would tell me how they sprinkle their lettuce in lemon juice to keep it's out-of-date-id-ness from becoming immediately apperant.

Micky D's - I eat the hamburgers and fries. I've eaten 7 of those things in one sitting, they're like Scooby Snacks. I hold myself down to 2 or 3 now.

BK - love the Whopper.

When I was on the road more, I'd get a lot of McD's and Wendy's chicken sandwiches to try to cut down on the bad stuff, LOL.

I rarely indulge any more, sometimes with my 6 year old. I STILL have too much of a weakness for pizza though.

I haven't eaten at Mickey D's for probably 6
mos. or more. The mere thought of it anymore
makes my skin crawl. I find it encouraging that their sales are plummeting and that they are closing a lot of their stores. There are too
many viable alternatives (esp. in LA) to have
to put up with the crap they are serving.
Any day of the week I can get fresh grilled
fish, peruvian food, sushi, etc. for about you
pay Mr. McDonald.
That said, I do occaisionally get my fast food
grub on at some un-named Mexican joints (and
its just as bad, I know), But Mc D's just
grosses me out and literally makes me feel
bad when I eat it.

Anyway, if I ever do endulge in that type of a meal I will occasionally enjoy a Filet 'O Fish, basic cheeseburger from McDonalds and their fries(They are the only one's that I enjoy outside of homemade). Wendy's doesn't have a bad cheeseburger, chicken sand or chili. As for the rest I have to pass with fast food. Any thoughts?
LOL. Good topic. I love 'em. I've often wondered why they have not become a permanent staple on the Mickey D's menu.

LOL yes! It had the drug addiction reference from “Requiem for a Dream”. Classic.
