Does anybody recommend any good PS2 games??

I just finally bought my own PS2. I have Medal of Honor which kicks major ass. Rented SW: Bounty Hunter & that's pretty good. The next one I'm looking at is the Navy Seal one (forget the actual name).

Anybody played Terminator: Dawn of Fate yet & what do you think??

    Thanks

Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City are greatness. If you're into sports games, pick up Madden 2003 (football) and NHL 2003.

I agree with the earlier posts Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is great, so is Madden 2003, if you are into RPG's you can't go wrong with Final Fantasy X, and if you are into wrestling games I would highly recommend WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth.

EVH: Definitely. Playing guitar was my sanctuary. It was the one place I could go to if I got fucked around by a girlfriend, or anyone else, for that matter. It still is. If thereís something I canít deal with, I can just spend hours playing. Itís a God-given gift Ė I certainly donít know where the ideas come from. Theyíre obviously given to you, and you have to keep your fingers moving and your mind quiet. I try my best to not think about thinking, so I can just let it flow. Because when I start thinking, forget it. <br />So....why he isn't playing guitar ? ? ?

I spend a lot of time playing the Madden '03 and NCAA Football '03 games. Those games are SO cool...at least until the '04 versions come out.

I also rented the James Bond game "Nightfire" last night. That one could get REAL addicting!

    Spiderman isn't too bad either.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, being the 80's themed GTA game, has a few =VH= references:
David Lee Roth's "Crazy from the Heat" is in the soundtrack. The Biker Gang's jackets have a logo that is very =VH= esque. There's some Ed-style soloing on some of the commercials / station id spots (V-Rock).

GTA-VC is set in 80's Miami (think Scarface/Miami Vice/etc...), GTA3 is modern New York/New Jersey (many Sopranos references). They have great pummeling and shooting action, but they're awesome driving games too.

If you like Ninja action (and who doesn't ) you should check out Tenchu 3--that should be an awesome game. You sneak around and silently kill hordes of enemies with your katana and throwing stars, etc... Good clean fun. The first two of the Tenchu series were great titles on the original playstation.

Get the GTA3 games and Tenchu3 and you should be covered for "fantasy violence stress relief" type gaming. Then again, there is a new Mortal Kombat title out...

NBA Street is a great party game like SSX Tricky. It's a modern interpretation of the NBA Jam style games. 3-on-3 action using NBA talent (KG and McGrady are the best players). NBA Street is about due for a sequel--so hold out for an update, or buy the original at a discount.
