I had rented the original of this flick and thought it was so-so. Not one of those movies you'd expect to go out and see the sequel (if it was even needed!). I saw the trailer for this movie (without knowing what it was for until the end of the preview) and it had a spectactular, chain-reaction, multi-vehicle car accident that made me think "damn, this is gonna be a cool movie!"! So, the guilty-pleasure seeker in me got the best of me and I went to see it. A brief synopsis: A girl has a premonition of the massive car-wreck and decides before entering the highway to abort her trip. Basically, when she stopped all of the traffic merging onto said freeway, she saved the lives in the cars behind her. (In the original, a kid stops his classmates from getting on a doomed-airplane because of his premonition of it crashing or blowing up. All of the "survivors" who didn't board it were killed in gruesome-accidents one-by-one.) So, begins Death's plan to kill off each of the travelers who "cheated" death by not getting on the highway in various gory accidents. The gore level is much more substancial in this sequel-some of them you'll wish you were watching it on DVD so you can slow some of the scenes up! Is this movie worth seeing, you might ask? I'd say it's a great, mindless nail-biter and you'll even find yourself walking out into the parking lot and driving home very carefully!

No, on both counts! I might be wrong, but I thought I heard that the Freddy Vs. Jason trailer got postponed! Ali Larter on the other hand gave me some stiff competiton with this new gal, AJ Cook!

The movie sucked. More blood less suspence. Maybe I'm getting older but that just doesn't do it for me anymore.
