    guys,

    i am hopefully going to be launching a fitness related website soon.

    i was wondering what all of you out there would think is important to you in regards to fitness. so, if you were to go to a website, what kind of information on fitness related ideas would you be looking for?

    How about a breakdown of those Power Bars, Gatorade bars, and Gatorade itself (the drink)? Some information on whether those things are really effective for the average person, or whether they're useless.

    I would look for specific exercises that would help me the most in the sports that I play. Eg. for Boxing I would look for weight lifting exercises that would increase my punching power, and I would look at a website for different ways to increase my endurance so that I would last a long time in a ring. Or for sports like Tae Kwon Do I would look for strength training to increase the power of my kicks, and to help me get height in jump kicks, and I would look for different stretching routines to increase my flexability.

    Also, for people interested in bodybuilding, I would put different routines that people could follow daily. I know that Arnold Swartzenegger's book on bodybuilding helped me a lot.

    Gatorade is good once in a while because it restores salt and potassium to your system that water alone can't replace. The bars are mostly carbohydrates so they're good for energy boosts if you need that, but just like eating a candy bar as far as nutritional value.

    How about debunking those stupid exercise machines that you see on the info-mercials?

    It'd be nice to know which ones really work (if any) and which ones don't...

    I personally don't use them, but... I bet there are many people who do, or who'd like to but would rather know if it's a worthwhile investment before the purchase. [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

    Have you seen the ads (how could you miss them??) for that thing you wear like a belt that stimulates the ab muscles? They also show people using it on their thighs, arms etc?

    I'm thinking about buying 20 of those bad boys and just strapping them on any available space (except one ).
