Not nearly as much as I'd like to.

Mostly bass for me. Used to fish for lake perch in Maine and PA, Flounder and Fluke on Long Island, and everything and anything in Fla.

It's on my list of resolutions for this year. No shit.

Deep sea is the absolute shit dude. You can usually arange it to where you can split the days in half and do half day deep/half crabbing or salmon. Damn its fun. And for some reason, you can drink allot more beer on the ocean than on land....its almost wierd how much.

(Waving hand frantically) Right here, bro!

Grew up fishing with my Dad and uncles. Mostly catfish, crappie, and bluegill. Not much of a bass angler--my idea of "catch and release" involves a little salt, a lot of cole slaw and a squirt of lemon.

Still get out with Dad a few times a year, but not near as much as I'd like to. Sometimes we clean up, sometimes we don't, but it's precious time spent with my Pa, and that's all that really matters.

My boy's about 2-1/2 and caught his first fish this weekend. Boy, talk about EXCITED! (Me and him both) I got the whole thing on video. A big moment, to say the least!

shit man, brings back some good memories.

I went off the coast of Japan one time and the captain ran us into a school of bonita tuna. I've never seen (or will see again) such furious fishing man. You could drop an unbaited hook in the water and pull up a fish for about an hour straight. We had that boat PACKED with bonita. It was like WAR with the seagulls though. They would try to scoop up the bait on your hook before it hit the water. I had a buddy (bout a 280 pound black dude) that would pull a seagull in and just fuckin stomp on it rather than try to unhook it (they have razor sharp beeks too). He was a pretty nice guy otherwise, just dont fuck with his fishin. lol. My wife and I were cleaning these things for 4 hours straight and the bathroom looked like bloody murder. We ended up HAVING to sell 60 fish @ 40 bucks a pop. Kept 7 or 8, made a bunch of money, got silly drunk and was the envy of every fishin boat that came in that day....nobody could figure out all the feathers on the deck though. Dont be fuckin with a mans fishin. lol

Sounds brutal about the sea gulls I know. But before anybody calls PETA on me, understand that the absolute intensity of the moment put us in a zone that just wouldnt tolerate these fuckin birds. They would steal your bait then bite your ass for trying to save them from swallowing the hook. They were diseased and literally sliced your ass up if they got ahold of ya so it was easier to just wring their neck and be done with it ( or stomp on em' in my buddies case)...had to have been there. It was like Nam at sea.

My dad in his younger days would do smelt fishing on Lake Michigan.

I only fished once and puked my brains out. I didn't have any sea legs.

Yeah I'm not too good on the boats. I think as I got older I'm better. Most adults handle the sea better than kids. I was only like 9 years old when that happened.

Love to fish! I mainly fly-fish now days, nothing better than being on a drift boat floating a river first thing in the Am or as the sun sets. I have not been out yet this year and thats sad considering on live on a lake.

Deep sea fishing is the shit also, I have been on Salmon charters numourus times and enjoyed every minute of it. A few years ago my Dad and I took out some employes on a Tuna charter off the coast of Washington as a thank you for all the hard work. The fishing was fantastic I have never fought a more powerful fish than a tuna. The boat ride out to the tuna was a little long for my taste but once we found them it was all worth it.
Steelheading is fun but in Washington State it can be very slow.
((Just My Two Cents))
And thats about what its worth.

I just got back from a fishing trip in Wisconsin. I'm still looking for that big one! I mostly just caught crappie, and bluegill. You can't keep the bass there til next week. But we had a big fish fry at the end and it was GOOD!!!!
I am awesome
