Aside from the rock and the roll I'm into old school musclecars. The late 60s and early 70s had to be extremely cool time to own a car. I built a 73 340 Plymouth Roadrunner when I was in highschool 11 years ago. My wife cringes everytime I go to a swap meet. I'm currently building a 71 440 Plymouth Barracuda ( hardtop Nash Bridges ride but gonna be lime of course)and I also have one of my special ed classes building me a 73 Plymouth Scamp. As you can tell I'm a mopar freak. Everything I own is Mopar down to my 97 360 Ram xcab custom to my wife's new Durango. Mopar or no car.

My all time top 3 want list would be
    70 Plymouth Superbird
69 Dodge Charger ala' Dukes of Hazzard
    71 Plymouth Roadrunner

What kind of cars you guys into?

Man I do love muscle cars. My first car was a 67 Mustang. I know that's border line muscle car, with the little 289 3 speed. But it was a blast to drive. The Cuda's are always burly. I think the 68 is one of the sweetest. One of these days I'm gonna find myself a 65 Goat. The Chevy 2 is another one you don't see alot. A budy of mine in highschool had a Superbee, and THAT was a fuckin' horse to say the least. Anyway, cool topic. Out.

I used to be a big time misclecar freak, though I never owned one. I have an uncle who had several cool old musclecars back in the late 60's - early 70's. Here is a partial list of the cars he owned:

    Brand New (!) 67 GTO
    67 Vette, 427, 3 deuces (all factory)
    69 GTO Judge
    69 Chevelle SS 396
    55 Chevy, 327, 4 speed
    57 Chevy convertible, 283 FI

He was a big GM nut back then. I love GM also, but I also love the other brands. My all time list would include:

    69 Mustang Fastback 428 SCJ
    66 Chevelle SS 396
    67 Plymouth GTX, 440 or 426 Hemi
    69 RoadRunner
    67 Fairlane 390 GT
    62 Impala SS 409
    70 Challenger/Cuda/Superbee 440 six pack
    Any GTO
    Any 55-57 Chevy
    Any Pre-73 Corvette

Hey Limecuda, my wife has a Durango, too. 2000 model, Platinum, 4.7 liter 235 horse - that thing will get it, man! Ever go out to the Durango Club Forum?

That is how mine will be painted. Lime with a black vinyl top and strips. I have a 3"x10" Lime Green Cuda banner in my classroom. I also have a Panther Pink Challenger one. The principal thinks I'm wild.

Rok, I just bought my wife a 2001 4.7 Platinum Durango last Friday. It's loaded out and has 16x8" wheels and fender flares and a chrome front. I hadn't seen many with chrome. She caught me at a weak point and the 1.9% financing was just too good. Too bad I really don't get to drive it. I just hope it gets decent gas mileage. She wants me to put nerf bars on it. I've never been to a Durango forum, but I visit www.moparts.com alot.

They're cool, but I love my black '92 Audi Quattro just fine. What I would like though is an Audi TT. Those things look and drive like you wouldn't believe. Anybody here own one? (If so, you're damn lucky. Those are fine pieces of machinery)

Hmmmmmm........an Audi.......hmmmm. Let's see here. I bet with a propane wrench and a lil' ingenuity we can get a stroked, polished and ported, supercharged Hemi under the hood. Well at least half way under the hood.

Well you wanna be a real hooligan right?
