I've always been a moderate coaster fan, but this weekend myself and some friends drove to Cedar Point in Ohio (home to 3 of the top ten coasters in the country) and now I feel the need to start a thread for other coaster fans or any other coaster related experience.
Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

TLC thinks highly of the coasters there. I have yet to ride the new one at Six Flags over Texas. It's called the Titan.

I saw that special last night on coasters

is that 280 foot drop coaster at Cedar Point?

at Six Flags over Great America here in Chicago they have a couple of good ones
Shockwave
Raging Bull
Batman
American Eagle

I was there last week and rode almost all of them. we were waiting in line for a coaster called Deja Vu but it broke down so we decided to not ride it when they got it back up and running again.

I don't know how people can ride them over and over--we rode 4 different coasters in a row and my eggs were scrambled

AP, what did you think of the Millinium Force.(man did I spell that right?) I rode it last year, and we're going back in the middle of August. Dam did that thing fly. The best thing about it is you can keep your hands up the entire time and not feel like your going to fall out.

By the way Cedar Point had an accident om the log ride yesterday or today. 3 logs got jamed up near the end of the ride.

i haven't been to Cedar Point in a few years, so i haven't been on Milennium Force yet. Magnum is still a favorite. Mean Streak's a good one, too, got that old-school vibe going.

went to Six Flags Ohio for our company picnic a couple years ago, and wasn't much impressed with their new crop of coasters. didn't get to ride the Superman coaster due to extremely heavy rain cutting the day short. Six Flags is less than an hour away from where i am, but i'd rather drive the extra hour to hit Cedar Point. stay in Sandusky that night, go a bit further up the freeway, and hit the bars at Put-In-Bay the next day...

Yeah, Millenium Force was awesome....I rode the 200 footer first and then MF made that look like a kiddie ride.
