ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL......
Well it seems that the "real" Van Halen is back and so is the greatest freakin game there is...football....

The Browns are back and so is DLR....
Man...it doesn't get any better than this...

Whats your favorite teams????and how do you think they will do this season????

Obviously my favorite team is "my beloved Cleveland Browns"....

now that Elway is gone they might have a chance....LOL

But seriously...I think the Browns are in for another long season....still very young, but I think the got alot more depth this year....

I think Tim Couch is the real deal if they can keep him healthy....dude took a beating last year..sheesh...

I also look for them to have a much improved running game...remember the name "Travis Prentice".....gonna be a superstar IMO...

Well c'mon guys and gals let me hear it....

Ah, that's cleard up Glenn. As usual, I'm gonna half to become a regular here, as well as all the other sports threads.

I'm a Buc and Jet fan. But I really don't have any football teams that I hate, except the Jags and Panthers.

I've always been a Parcell fan, so I'm stickin with my J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. And the Bucs, I liked Alstot in college and most of their players when they were in college too, and when all of them go there, I become a fan. But I've been a Bucs fan since '96.

Also, I like the Chiefs, Benglas, Raiders, Browns and 'Skins.

I was always a 'Boys fan, but they haven't done much for me the last couple of years. I watched Couch play for the 'Cats here in Lexington, so I think I'm gonna convert to Cleveland.

Pavinc...good to see another Browns fan.
I went to the game actually last night and Prentice looked damn good. So did Patten, he had a great game. Northcutt reminded me a little of Metcalf, so we will wait and see on him.
I think the Browns could end up with the first pick again seeing as how we are in the best division in football. But we will be more entertaining then last year...Courtney Brown is going to be a blast to watch.

Sorry Browns fan---The ghost of Elway will always haunt you! Big Bronco fan, I think they'll be back in the playoffs this year, but probably not the Super Bowl. Who knows though, the way the NFL is now, anyone can win----even the Browns!

Hey, redfire - you do know that "Jets" stands for "just end the season" - right?!?
My faves are the Patriots, Buccaneers and Jaguars. I'm from New England and my wife is from New York so I told her I won't buy jack007 any New England teams' stuff is she doesn't buy any New York teams' stuff. Got him his first Jaguars jersey yesterday - he's gonna be the toughest looking dude in daycare next month! Gotta get him a Bucs jersey, too. Not sure how any of my teams are going to do this year - looks like Belichick is laying down the law up there and the players seem to be responding to that - they need a running game and some healthy lineman though. The Bucs no longer have Trent Dilhole, so that's a plus, but Shaun King needs 'sperience. And the Jags need to learn how to beat Tennessee for starters, but if they stay healthy, they can go all the way. If it came down to Jags-Pats in the AFC championship - well, hopefully it won't come to that, least not until one or the other has won a Super Bowl!

The Lions are my team. I know, I know, but I can wish can't I.
If they don't sign Robert Porcher, they will lose. That defence will go flat.
    Foball. Yes I said Foball.

Billy, you know the Jags have lost 3 starting O linemen for the season don't you. Get that boy of yours breathin Buc football. As for King, keep in mind he and his team were just INCHES away from beating the Rams and going to the Super Bowl, not to mention the fact he started since about game 9 of last season, wasn't it? Bucs all the way baby.

No - I knew Searcy went down, but I didn't know of the other injuries. Don't pay enough attention until they're ready to play for real - so much else going on, you know? Racing season is hitting the home stretch, the baseball pennant races are heating up, and then there's this rumour that this rock 'n roll supergroup may be returning with their original lineup - forget which band that is, but it's a big one!

I'll be getting into football moreso once the World Series is over.

My favorite team is the Vikings. Lord knows they'll have struggles with wet-behind-the-ears QB Dante Culpepper.

OK, since the Browns played the Eagles the other night...

They ARE in for another long season, but I think the Eagles definitely got the better QB in 99. McNabb looked like Steve Young compared to Couch...although Couch DID look better than last year.
And did you notice Courtney Brown never got his name called for a play? Browns should have taken Peter Warrick..he'd make Couch look great.

You're right there, dude. That guy looked SCARY good And David Patten looked hot, too.

I'll predict the Browns go 4-12, maybe 5-11.
    Eagles go 8-8!
