The game 2 between the Blazers & the Lakers is a glaring example. The technical fouls, the fist fights, the arrogance, etc... This is truly the league at its worst. You have guys like rasheed wallace w. hot heads & pure arrogance & stupidity when it comes to officials. Worse than Rodman! Then you have arrogant pricks like Shaq & Kobe. Just seeing those guys is sickening. And hot heads like Dale Davis & Robert Horry going at eachother.

This league needs MJ to come back & bring Charles Barkley w. him. If he can get a few good free agents, more power to him. Knock this knuckleheads on their asses & show these guys how the game should be played.

But why would a bunch of multi-millionaire young players give a shit what Michael Jordan says or does? It's not like the whole league would start following MJ's lead. Plus, if you're looking to give the league more class, Barkley may not be the first answer to that puzzle.

I don't believe that Michael is as snow white as he's been sold to us, but if the league is so bad (and in a lot of ways I think it is), why would Michael want to re-align himself with it as a player?

Guys, I'm not a basketball fan by any means but I do remember MJ had some faults too. How about him publicly trashing Isiah Thomas and keeping him off the '92 Dream Team??

Oh Hooligan will casually forget that Tim, don't worry. Where MJ became this saint, I don't know. These damn Bull fans just live in an alternate universe.

Charles Barkley is going to return and bring back class to the NBA? Hooligan, you are higher than the price of gasoline. Let's see a 38 year old MJ try to guard Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter or Allen Iverson. Just let it go. You had 6 titles in 8 years, but now it's over. Just sit back and watch those "arrogant pricks", Shaq and Kobe, as they grin their way to another championship.

Jordan already showed these young punks how to play. He even showed the old farts like Magic Johnson how to play!

The Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets whatever you want to call them, have NEVER displayed "SOX" anywhere on their caps, jerseys, or merchandise, therefore they shouldn't be referred to as such. However, the White Sox have used "SOX" since 1912.

The SOX are in Chicago...we just allow the Pilgrims/Americans/Somersets to use the name.

There is no reason for MJ to come back.

His career went out on the highest note possible. Common sense dictates not to come back after the way he left.

It might be a draw for a while, but what if the Wizards continue losing? What if MJ gets hurt?

    NOT worth the risk.

I'm not sure MJ coming back would change any of the players' attitudes. A lot of them have big egos and probably wouldn't want to listen to older players.

...and certainly not someone with MJ's ego. I mean the guy thought he could actually play pro baseball....Talk about having a big head! He was embarrassing on the field.

If the guy likes to play ball, and can still be competitive at his age, why not? If he enjoys it, more power to him. How many people get to do what they really love and enjoy? Best to do those things while you are able.

I have no problem with Michael Jordan, he is a great player. Those who make him out to be a "god" on here is what is ridiculous.

Of course the guy had faults. Nobody is calling him a GOD. He gambled, he cheated on his wife, etc... He isn't a saint by a long shot. That's all off the court. On the court, the guy was a professional. Unlike the "Big Aristole" a.k.a Kazaam & "Mix master" Kobe.

And Brett & Coulda Hada. You guys are from LA. You know how the movie always ends. The good guys always win. Spurs are going to win it this year (& no I'm not riding the bandwagon like you two.)

    Foolagain,

How does rooting for our hometown team put Brett and me on the bandwagon? Aren't you the guy who told everyone how Portland was going to win the championship? Aren't you the guy who told everyone how great Philadelphia is? And now that the Blazers are all but finished and the Sixers are struggling, you're touting San Antonio. Who's on the bandwagon here? Have you broken an ankle yet jumping from one bandwagon to the next?

You stated that the good guys always win. Well, that was true last year and may happen again this year. However, didn't your Bulls win 3 years in a row with that loser Rodman on the team? Didn't your Bulls win 6 times in 8 years with that whiner Pippen on the team? Scottie is once again showing what a class act he is. When he looks into his championship rings, he sees Jordan's reflection.

Hey Hooligan, do you remember game #7 of the 1989 Eastern Conference Finals when Pippen couldn't play against Detroit because he had a headache? The truth was he was intimidated by Rodman and the Pistons. And now he has the balls to acuse Kobe of faking an injury! Unbelievable.
