This better be for a good cause, such as a new Shania pic!

Some people have the capability to block you from getting images. I don't know how to get around it myself.

Disabling right clicks are annoying , but easily work-around-able.

In a normal browser window with a top menu, go to View > Source. This will open up the web page's code in a text editor. In the code, look for any thing that begins:

    </font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">&lt;img src=&quot;</pre>
and ends with a quote and greater-than symbol:

    </font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">&quot;&gt;</pre>
This will be the path of a graphic on the website. On large pages with a lot of graphics, it could take a while to find the correct one! (The more you know "where to look", the easier it is.) Then copy and paste the image path in your address bar behind the site's domain name (usually right after the ".com" part). Hit enter and bingo! The image alone will appear in your browser, able to be saved.

In a browser window with no top menu, hit Ctrl + N and the page will open in a new browser window complete with a menu, address bar, etc. and follow the same steps.

Damn Frames! There are no &lt;img src=""&gt; tags to be found.

I could've sworn I read somewhere where it was said that frames should not be used.

Usually people disable image saving with javascript. Just turn javascript off on your browser, reload the page, and you should be able to grab it.

Don't disable anything. Hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard (over off to the right near the top), go to MS Paint, do a ctrl-v to paste the screen shot, then crop the picture you want and save it. Takes 15 seconds once you do it a couple of times, then you get what you wanted without changing settings back and forth

I was just gonna suggest the good ole Print Screen. Course, if you do that and you wanna post this pic, you'd need to convert it to a jpeg or GIF image, then upload it to a site somewhere.

BTW, if anybody needs some software for messing with images...Graphic Workshop Professional is the coolest little freeware program in the world, after Pro Tools Free. Search for it on www.download.com .

I just got to File, at the top of the screen, click Save As and save the whole page.

Then I open the file on the page and hunt down the JPEG or what ever the format is. I've only found a couple of site that I can't pull that trick on.
