I think L.A. Lakers is a good team...with H.Grant they´re awesome!!!!...but Orlando Magic with Hill could be the great surprise!!!!

So well my favorite team for 2000-2001 season is Orlando!!!!

my favorite has/is and will always be the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS.

and while were on the subject of the NBA.
they should do away with guys flopping on the floor, trying to draw offensive fouls.DENNIS RODMAN did this all the time. and in the cavs last game LINDSEY HUNTER kept doing this. i wanted to crawl inside the tv and strangle him. it takes no talent to flop. no blood, no foul.

I've been with the Sonics for a long time and don't intend on giving up on them anytime soon. So they're off to a slow start (4-7), but they'll hopefully get better.

I bleed Sonic Green. This is not going to be the Sonics year, they will make the playoffs but I would be surprised if they make it into the second round.

Sonics downfall started when Bob Whitsit left and went to those Portland bastrds. I dont blame Whitsit at all I blame sonic owner Barry Ackerly's son for being a dickhead.

Multi-BILLIONAIRE Paul Allen had the smarts to swoop Whitsit up and look at the Blazers now, they will give the HATED LA Lakers a good run for there money. Sonics need a new GM in a bad way. Cheese ball GM wally Walker has made bad move after bad move. The first bad move was hireing his good freind to coach the team.

    Lakers will repeat.

While I am a Hardcore Blazer fan I am really dissapointed thus far. No chemistry, they look old and there is no energy. They will make the playoffs no doubt about it but I dont think they will go all that far. With that being said......Seenbad, I know you live close to me dude so let me off you something.....A friend of mine works for Standard Ins. in Downtown Portland and he and his company always have a Suite available for Blazers games. He has one for Dec 9 against the Pistons and if you wanna go your invited. It can hold 20 and so far there is only 7 of us going. Let me know!!!

what do you PORTLAND fans think of SHAWN KEMP. i had the pleasure(tongue firmly in cheek) of watching the ground bound KEMP
foul out. is he still out of shape?
does BOB WHITSIT(sp) think he can motivate him? here in cleveland we've got TRACTOR TRAYLOR who is out of shape, but at least he admits it.

From a Sonics fan stand point I think alot of Kemps problems revolve around his mental game. He needs a motivator - George carl was perfect at that - Gary Payton also stayed on Kemp.

When Kemp was successful as a Sonic he had a strong coaching staff and training staff. Whitsit has taken all of those people with him including the strength and conditioning coach that Kemp really liked. I think in time the Kemp of old will reappear.

Phoenix Suns will always be my #1 team.

Jason Kidd, Clifford Robinson, Penny Hardaway(when he's healthy), Rodney Rogers, Tom Gugliotta and Shawn Marion (look out for this rising star) are a pretty awesome core group. If we could only find that elusive big man. Suns fans have been waiting for a real big man since they started in the late '60s. Suns lost the coin flip to draft Lew Alcindor (Kareem) to the Bucks.

I HATE THE LAKERS! ALWAYS HAVE, ALWAYS WILL.
They will probably win it all again this year though.

Lakers, Lakers, Lakers!! Finally nice to live in LA and see World Champion Los Angeles Lakers all over the place. Back where the title belongs. HA HA HA! So far I haven't been impressed by any team in the league, including the 9-0 76ers.

BTW, Sean Kemp's best years are way way behind him. I say he's either benched or waived by the end of the year. He's fat, slow, and he can't get up and down the court. An awful trade for the Blazers IMHO.

Another rain soaked Sonics fan here

Gotta love the Blazers too though.

Lakers.... Sorry. Never liked em, never will. Respected them during the Magic/Kareem eras but still didn't like em. Can't even say I respect Shaq. Kobe yes. Horace Grant, definitely.

Actually I usually ignore the NBA during the regular season. Same with baseball. Too damn many games. I don't watch that much TV and who can actually afford tickets?? Season tickets? Not this year

Football is an easier committment, just the weekends, and the holiday bowl games.....

Anyone up for a "Van Halen" halftime at the Rose Bowl rumor??? The Dawgs and VH? Can't beat that!!
