HAH! 41-0! That was pathetic. Are the Giants really that good, or do the Vikings just really suck? I wanna rip on the Vikings some more but I don't know where to start...somebody else take over please.

    I was thoroughly shocked. WOW.

Sucks to be the Vikings' defensive coordinator right now.

Very true - they always sputter at this level in games they should win.

Good post Aquatic Punk . The Viking's do suck and I have always felt Kerry Collins is a good quarterback . The Giants are good but not because they beat the Viking's . It was a strong defense that won the game. I have said this before in a previous post that defense wins championships . And the Giants have a great D . Obviously Minnesota doesn't know what defense is . The Vikes do have some talent on offense but their whiney , slobby coach has failed for 4 years to put it together . At this point , I'm ready to see Bud Grant again . At least he was respectable and got them to the Super Bowl . Plus he was a nice man . The Viking's have mastered the word " CHOKE " . What was enjoyable was the camera guys focusing in on Culpepper , Moss , and Carter . They were looking for their Mama wanting to crawl back in the womb . What I would like to see in the division realignment is the removal of Minnesota from the Central followed by a replacement in the form of the Rams or the Chiefs . These two are quality teams . I think they should put Minnesota with Dallas that way we can keep the convicts and losers in one division The question is , where are Hellohawk , Mike L ,and Bassman ? They are big Minnesota fans and I wanted to offer my condolences I know they are reading this post . Come on guys , let's see how creative you are with your excuses .

Creative? Excuses? Those are Packer-fan terms!

The Vikes were just flat today, and honestly I can't recall ever seeing them play so poorly. The Giant's defence was fine, but Collins... man. What a game! That guy had such an amazing first half. Just unbelievable.

Bradshaw said at the half that it was the best half of football he'd ever seen a quarterback play.

Just imagine if Collins had played the entire game. He didn't even take a snap in the fourth quarter.

Not only did we win, but we stayed healthy for the Super Bowl. This might be one of, if not the lowest scoring Super Bowls ever so we'll need all the healthy guys we can get.

The Ravens have no passing game. Dilfer is the luckiest player left playing football this time of year. They have a good running game, but the Giants can shut it down. Their defense is damn good, but so is ours.

I'm calling it now - Daluiso vs. Stover...

    Edge G-Men.

As much as I DON'T want to see it Down, you are probably correct about the "Kicker Bowl." As for the Vikes(sorry MikeL), what the hell? They didn't even look like a real NFL team today. I like coach Green and Chris Carter, but their nutsack was cut off and handed to them today. LOL. Man I never saw that kind of a game comming for sure. I'll will say that Dennis Grenn is a good coach, and will one day have a ring on his finger. Out.

Despite being picked by the "experts" to finish fourth or fifth in the Central, the Vikings won 11 regular season games and a playoff game. I really did not expepect them to get this far this year at all!

That said, yesterday's performance was inexcusable. I think we can safely say the pre-game speeches and game plans the coaches put together can only be considered valuable only as kindling.

Good news: Spring training is less than a month away!!

Why? Hate the Vikings all day long, but that is great stew for rivals, not to mention the geographic factor. I'm sure every Browns fan hates the Steeelers, but no way would they not want to play each other twice a year. That's part of the fun of football.

I think (moving the Vikings away from their natural rivals) is just a bad idea.

Hellohawk , change is usually good . What I'm saying is since the NFL is going to offer realignment , St. Louis or KC would be good replacements for Minnesota . Geographically ,this would be a good move .It is a well known fact that owner Red McCombs has toyed with the idea of moving to San Antonio . That is where he is from . Whether this comes into fruition or not is anyone's guess . I have enjoyed the Minnesota/GB rivalry as much as anyone else but I am not opposed to change . I can't see separating GB from Chicago or Detroit. I'm not sure of this in miles , but Minnesota might be a little closer for rivalry than Detroit . The reason why Detroit would stay is because the eastern half of the country is already congested with teams but the west would be an open door . Since Minnesota is closer to the west , they would probably join San Fran , Arizona , etc . The battle of the Bays is a good rivalry too but it just makes more sense to put TB in a division relative to their area . These plane trips are tough and NFL players deserve to be with their families as well . Speaking of spring training , did the Brew Crew finally spend some dough and get some quality players . I don't follow B-ball and I'm a fair weather fan at most but I would like to see the Brewers do better than .500 . I'm happy as hell the Bucks are kickin' ass !

If all the pieces come together, the Brewers should, (gulp) be competive this year. They played above .500 baseball last year after the picked Sexson from the Indians in July. They signed Jeffery Hammonds to spell old man Grissom in center and the young staff is getting better. If Belliard comes into camp in shape and can handle the leadoff duties, they'll be exciting to watch.

The Brewers have one of the best 3-4-5-6 batting orders in the NL (Jenkins, Sexson, Burnitz, Hammonds)

I'm very pumped about being a season ticket holder for brand new Miller Park too! But alas, I'll save all this baseball talk for the up and coming "Dugout" thread.

The Bucks are coming alive after an early slump, they are well overdue for a nice playoff run.
