Tony Banks is now the QB for the Dallas Cowboys...BBbwwwhhhhaaaaaaa!!!!!

What in the hell is up with that?
Banks sucks big time!! Dallas fans has your owner totally lost it? Making Banks your #1 QB. What a joke. Oh, well I guess it's rebuilding time in Dallas for the next few years.

I'm a Browns fan myself so I gues I can't talk to much smack but at least the Browns are making some good acqusitions in this off-season. Damn what is Jones thinking. That guy is a complete moron. I feel sorry for you Cowboy fans.

Dude, they were trying to get RYAN LEAF! But if you think about it, every team that signed Tony Banks ended up in the SuperBowl...ST louis, Baltimore, etc. Maybe JJ thinks he can get some "Me Wise Magic" by signing that stiff.

And on a related note, who thinks Michael Vick is gonna be as big a bust as Ryan Leaf or Akili Smith? I just see WAAYYYY too much being expected from a guy who's only played 2 seasons in college.

VG, I said in the Troy Aikman thread that maybe they should sign him as a good luck charm! Ask St. Louis & Baltimore about the good things that happened to them after they got rid of him! Big D has to get rid of him, too!

Soon enough, some of us will be singin' "The Boys Are Back In Town"!!

You wouldn't happen to be talking about signing Curtis Enis off waivers, would you? {insert Sam Kinison-like hysterical laughter here}. As dumb as Banks is (I think the Giants had him pegged as a moron in some IQ test), Enis takes the cake. Enis held out as the #5 pick a few years back with the Bears on the advice of a rank amateur agent , and when he did sign, he blew $3 million over the life of the contract. Curtis is the latest of great, injury-prone running backs out of Penn State. Enjoy Cleveland!!!

As a Texan and a Cowboy fan I was hoping they would use that Wright kid as qb. Go ahead and write off the 2001 season and try and get Chris Simms (NYGs Phil Simms' boy)out of Texas next year.

Yeah, I kinda cringe when they picked Enis up. But the Browns did pick up Ross Verba from the Packers. This guy is one of the top 5 Offensive Linemen in the NFL. That was a great pick to help bolster the Browns injury prone line. They also picked up Dwayne Rudd from the Vikings. He's an Outside linebacker. This dude has great speed and will immediately start for the Browns. We only signed Enis to one year.

Man, I miss football season already. Rudd is a good player, but he plays at the level of his teammates. He sure wasn't much of a spark for the Vikes last year.

You guys up for playing in a FF league this fall? We got a few Linkers into one last fall and we (well, I... ) had a good time.

Well, the one area where the Browns are very solid at is the linebacking corps. Rudd will get to play alongside of Wali Rainer and Jamir Miller. This could turn into one of the best linebacking corps. in the NFL.

How about an XFL FF league? I'll trade my 2nd & 4th round picks for He Hate Me
