I figured it was Sam. Sounds like his accent. Slightly similar to Ain't talkin' bout love dontchathink?

Definitely matters, Brett. It's mine too. I have risked what's left of my eardrums on that song many times-I just gotta crank it when I listen to it.

It's a shame that it's the only FUCK song they didn't put on the live album.

The Dream is Over is also on the bootleg called USA 1992, which I think was recorded at the same shows that the video was recorded at.

This is my favorite Sammy era VH tune, this song kicks ass live. Did they play this on the 95 tour? Ed's tone was a little different & I bet it would've sounded great on that tour too.

I got a quick question for anybody out there. An old girlfriend & I used to get into a little argument about this one. In the begining of 'Dream Is Over' is that Sam or Ed that says "Hey man, wake up"????

    I said Sam.
    She said Ed.

That part just after the slide intro that Ed's doing that arpeggiated E/G/D/A progression gives my goosebumps every time, and the shedding line that he plays to start the solo!! Whoa
It's neat, I always thought Ed got the idea for the intro from the bridge section of Whole Lotta Love, you know that Bump a Bump line?

It's also on VHS version as well. The solo smokes, and the intro with Ed hitting those harmonics almost accidently just sound too cool.

Greg... I don't think they played it on the '95 tour.. but man, I wished they would dumped "Aftershock" or something to squeeze this in! A very under-rated song!

"The Dream is Over" and "In and Out" are my 2 favorite songs from FUCK, in that order...

I was bummed when Dream is over wasn't on the live RHRN CD.
