I'm almost 100% sure they didn't do any Extreme songs on that tour. Gary did mention that the band was willing to do some of them, but that he (Gary) declined.

Gary and Eddie sat down and did Josephina acoustically, maybe that's where someone got the idea that they did More Than Words.

Yeah, I remember reading that in an interview. The right decision too I reckon. (not that I don't like Extreme songs - I just think that at a VH concert they should play... VH)

I DO remember reading an interview with Mikey, BEFORE the VH III tour, in which he indicated that he would LOVE to perform the song "Get The Funk Out" live....But as far as I know, Glenn is right: VH never performed any Extreme songs on the VH III Tour.

I would have loved to hear them rip it up on either Mutha or Hip Today.

Hole Hearted. That's my favorite Extreme song. Well, that is the ONLY Extreme song I have ever listened to all of the way. Ed and Mike coulda played the acoustic guitars while he and Gary sang. It's be cool to see Mikey play something other than a bass.

Granted at a VH concert, you'd wanna hear VH but I'd have rather heard some Extreme than some of the VH3 stuff. You know what I mean? I wouldn't have wanted to hear Josephina, One I Want, Dirty Water Dog. I'd take Rest in Peace, Get the Funk Out, Kid Ego, even Hole Hearted and More Than Words over the aforementioned. Call me crazy, but that's me.
