I am a little embarrassed, b/c normally I check before I post something, but I was in a hurry, and you make mistakes when you get in a hurry.

In the 'video permission' thread started by Glenn (I think), I posted a response concerning the 'idea-expression dichotomy' in Copyright Law.

Unfortunately, I mislabeled the parts.

In the 'idea-expression dichotomy', an artist protects the idea, not the expression, which makes more sense. If the expression of an idea was protected, then no cover band could survive b/c of the infringement lawsuits.

Although it may seem like a 'minor' point of clarification, I thought it would be better to point this out, rather than have someone else embarrass me later.
