Well, I'll beat Glenn to half of the answer. (See? I know how to share. )

    Yes, it's a harmonica solo.

(And I'll guess that it's Dave playing it. )

I was just listening to that a few minutes ago. I love it - wish I could have seen Dave do that one live. That's the show where I had third-row seats on Ed's side of the stage and they cancelled the show when he broke his hand.

Was that one of the shows in New Jersey?

Man, that story is just tragic. I had tickets but missed the Eat Em and Smile tour, but that was due to my own stupidity. To have missed the DD tour on a cancellation is just tragic.

Lexington, K - Y , Glenn. Get this - you know how much A third-row VH seat cost you in Lexington in 1983? (Scroll down for answer)

I think I kept the ticket instead of getting my money back.
Now THERE'S something I need to check and see if I still have it hanging around.

You definitely should check for that ticket. First off, it had to have been in 1982, not 1983, because the only touring they did into 83 was South America and the US Festival.

If you find that ticket, you should scan it and send it to Bradman. Both the Official site and the VHE show that the 3 shows that were postponed by Ed's hand were Oct 15 and 16 in New Jersey and the 18th in NY. They both show that VH played Lexington on Nov 6 of 1982.

I'm sure you're correct (how could you forget such a loss), so you should set these other sources right.

Glenn - I believe you're right. That show was in the fall of 1982. This one was not postponed though - C-A-N-C-E-L-L-E-D. As in sorry 'bout your luck - catch us next tour, kiddo.

Dave played harmonica(the Mississippi saxophone, the Frenchman's harp)on every live show I have that includes that bad boy boogie,"Full Bug."

I got a show from '94 with DLR and he played a cool harp solo during BEAUTIFUL GIRLS!!!!!!
