1. Who's idea was it to use "Big Bad Bill on DD?

    2. And how did they come across this tune?

    Ok lets have the answers people. Yes Glenn you can play as well. Out

First of all, the mystery is solved, T5 is really Macaulay Culkin.

    Okay, the VHE says this;

    Dave got the idea to cover this Jack Yellen/Milton Ager song after hearing it broadcast from a Kentucky radio station one day while listening to his Walkman.

    Damn it! I should have looked to see if the VHE had anything on this song before I asked the question. But yes Glenn you are correct sir. No more questions that might be in the VHE for you Glenn. I was just reading some old Guitar Player mags today and saw where Eddie talked about Big Bad Bill. Out.

    Did Eddie say anything else about "Big Bad Bill" in the interview Track? That's one of my all-time faves.

    "The thing that inspires me the most is my bottle of Jack Daniels. It's my best friend in the world. Ol' Jack will never let you down. He's always there when you need him" - Nikki Sixx, Hit Parader magazine 1986

    "Van Halen is 'Get the fuck off the sidewalk if ya don't like our drivin' kinda music!" - David Lee Roth

    "We get to the hotel, there's people partyin' in the parking lot, people gettin' down in the elevator, wow! I swear to God I had this one chick, this chick was poundin' on my door, she was kickin' and screamin' at my door 'til about 6.30 this morning. Finally, I just said, 'Fuck it!' and let her out of my room!" - David Lee Roth

    No not really man. He just said that they were in Dave's father's house and Dave could actually pick up a station from Louisville on his Walkman. Eddie called it a Sanyo, but I'm sure he ment a Sony walkman. They could only get that station standing in a certain part of the upstairs part of the house. What is weird, is that when Eddie was doing this interview, Van Halen was playing Louisville Kentucky that night. Cool shit huh. That's all E4life, nothing really all that major. Cool story though. Out.

    No, Eddie meant Sanyo.

    Back in the early 80's Sanyo was the Sony, if you will, of Beta Walkmen. LOL.

    (Wow, Diamond Dave had a Sanyo Beta walkman... Brings tears of joy to my eyes... )

    Shit man! Dave is an old school Beta brother? I knew he was the shit for a fontman, but a OG Beta Brother? Damn this news makes my day. I am however a tad pissed of at the fact that they didn't mention THIS fact in the interview. LOL. Out.
