I'd love to hear Edward do something with Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and the great Warren Haynes from the Allman Brothers and Government Mule. Not only is Warren a great Guitar Player but is a fantastic vocalist. With VH in limbo, Warren Haynes and Government Mule have been my salvation!

Yanni.....LOL

How about the rest of VH which would someday hopefully be......Mr. David Lee Roth.
Whoops, no singers. I ain't got a clue. Why would I want anyone else but original members working together??

Eddie should hook up with the following atrists:

1) Tommy Lee
2) George Lynch
3) David Elfson

Eddie & Satch would be a seriously cool combination, grooves-a-plenty to be had there! Ed & Vai probably wouldn't exactly suck, either.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Ed do something with his idol Eric Clapton, or Jimmy Page. For some reason, I really think Ed & Jimmy's styles, both as players and as songwriters would yeild some very cool results!

Warren Haynes, Andy Timmons, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, Neal Schon, Steve Lukather and Steve Morse would also be interesting musical matches.

Of course, short of someone like Clapton or Page, or possibly another Ed fave, Allan Holdsworth, Ed probably wouldn't be all that down with sharing the guitar spotlight, soooooo...

For the actual band, either Oteil Burbridge or Billy Sheehan on bass, Terry Bozzio or Simon Phillips on drums, and either Greg Rolie or if it were a more blues-oriented project, Reese Wynans on keys.

Not even gonna touch the singer dilema... lol

I would love to hear Ed play with Oteil. He's an amazing bass player, one of my favorites.

That's pretty much what I want VH to do if they're not going to reunite with Dave or Sam.

Why not do a cool blues project? It's better than nothing which exactly what were getting now.

Back to guitar players, I'd also like to hear Ed play with Trey Anastasio or Derek Trucks, that would be sweet.
