What is the best Eddie live guitar solo you guys have heard on a bootleg, or MP3 etc....

I think the Live Without A Net, US Festival, and 1984 Indianaplois.

I've always liked the In 'N' Out solo on RHRN.
Better use it up before it gets old!

His unaccompanied solos were the best on the first couple of tours when they weren't so damn long. Those 16 minute solos from the 1984 tour are a little much!!

I agree with the US Festival and LWAN.

The best solo i've ever heard from Ed would have to be his solo spot from the 1986 show in Montreal on the 5150 tour. The whole show in my opinion is better then the LWAN show. If anyone else besides myself has seen this bootleg then they know what im talkin about. Just a real kick ass show with Good Enough, Sam and Ed guitar duel, and Addicted to Love thrown in there. Plus the 5150 solo is extened a tad more then LWAN. And from the Dave era my favorite Ed solo would be off the London Invasion Boot from 1980, or the solo off of Listen Up Eddie in 1981 on the FW tour. Good shit there!

Right off the top of my head I`m thinking of the Oakland `81 solo off the boot I have. Of course the LWAN net solo , Toronto `95 and the `84 solo .

the LWAN solo is prolly my fav..it's just raw and all eddie's attitude

the '84 solo was awesome as well cuz of the tray table and also the blues he threw in there. i'd like to see him throw those two tilts back into the game next time around during his solo spot.

ed's wah during cathedral on the III tour was pretty fuckin neato as well..i dig it

My best memory was that 1984 tour. Ed is doing his solo, and the whole entire arena (about 2,000)
just starts to chant in perfect sync..Eddie, Eddie..and Eddie stops and he is just like staring in disbelief..he jumps on top of a speaker and solos for about 25min. It was absolutley awesome. Brought down the house..
