It's been four years people! I see us (all Van Halen fans) as the doctor hunkered over the lifeless body of the dying old woman still giving her CPR as the nurse yells, "Doctor, Doctor, she's gone!"

I am sure they will come back, but I am worried in what form. Eddie is a musician, and I dont see him not playing the guitar. But he may just release a solo album.

We as fans always say "We need VH to bring back rock!". But do you really think that would be VH's motivation? I doubt they even care what the music scene looks like. And sometimes, I think that they might not care to bother with DLR. It is their life.

That said, it is difficult to be a fan, and watch your favortie band deteriorate like this. Is David Lee the only answer? At this point, yes. Not because he is the only one who can save them. I think two years ago, maybe Hagar could have helped them get back on their feet after VHIII. But now, i don't think the mainstream will accept anything BUT Dave, mainly due to all the speculation and rumors and the fact that people now know they did do some songs together. To casual fans, that would solidify that the reunion was "on".

I still remain optimistic that we havent heard the last from our favorite band. I also still remain optimistic that the band will do something with Roth.

    Keep the faith !!

Bring back the original Van Halen. The real Van Halen. The closest thing there ever could be to an official Van Halen. Grade A VH, Ladies and Gentlemen...and the best showman in the world to prove it.
