Now, before I give my idea for singer #4, let me say that I'm still holding fast to the idea that there will be a reunion between Van Halen and DLR. Now, I was listening to a classic rock station on my drive back to school, and I Want A New Drug came on by Huey Lewis and the News. Privately, I've always dug their music, and I think Huey Lewis has a voice that is a perfect fit with VH. His voice sounds almost the same as Dave's, with that cool rock and roll throaty falsetto. I know this would never happen, especially because their styles of music differ, but I think it'd be kinda neat to hear a jam session with Huey singing some classic VH. I know I'm gonna get crucified for this, but Van Huey can't be any cheesier and Van Hagar (except for Balance) and can't be any worse than Van Danniels. Just a funny thought on a long drive.

Dude, I think you found a new drug. My choice would be weird Al as the next singer. That way everyone knows there going to get crap for a CD and don't have to waste there 15 to 20 dollars on a cd.Any forth singer isn't going to work.EVER

Going on that assumption, people seriously need to get their heads outta the cheese grater on this issue. You think Van Halen and Huey Lewis could ever make songs that rock harder than

I'd let Jim Morrison out of Hell before I'd let them allow Huey Lewis to sing.

Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

    Idea's for 4th singer.

I think that David Coverdale would be a good
fit. But I have to say this thou you guys think
that van hager sucked compared to van roth. Personally I think they both did a good job. Basically Roth is just a cover song guy and Hager
    is more creative.

For a Led Zeppelin tribute band??

What a crock of shit. Covers are roughly equal. If they played them live, that's a cover, and Van Hagar played a lot of covers. Whether or not they put them on an album is irrelevant. Furthermore, if WB had pulled the plug on FUCK Live (a.k.a. RHRN) the same way they had on the planned Van HALEN live album in 1982, a Van Hagar cover album would have been very possible, as a contractural obligation.

As for creativity, no contest. There are no cheese ballads on a Van HALEN album, no throwaway filler like "Inside" or "Apolitical Blues" and no lyrical felonies like "Spanked" or "Big Fat Money". If that shit is what you call "creativity" than I better check to see whether Noah Webster is turning cartwheels in Hell...

Guys, come on, you all know who the PERFECT singer for Van Halen is.

He's a little bit rock and roll.
    He's a soldier of love.
