Hi-
I know that there has been discussion of different singers for a new VH disc, with debates going on back and forth if this would work, would he be compatible and would the fans buy it. I know that the name of the guy who sang "I'll Never Let you Go" has come up. Sorry I don't know his name or the name of the group.

However, if he is the guy singing the song Mark Walberg sings when he is trying out for Red Dragon in "Rock Star", I say Sign Him Up!! He had an excellent vocal range and could easily cover all three era's and could also provide that "angelic sound" that Eddie was hoping Gary would deliver.

    Just my opinion.

When you hear a song, it can make you remember what you felt, where you were and who you were with the first time you heard it. That's what music can do.

When I get into you, get into me...

Hey, MH - not a bad subject, just in the wrong place (no big sin ). Actually, this has been discussed a few times in the Opinions thread and the rumor mill as well.

Just going to move it over to Opinions.

isn't this dude named Mikey Steel??????

that has to be the lamest "stage name" i've ever heard.

I don't care how high, screechy or pretty you sing, it takes more than a good voice to be a cool rock and roller.

The best was the guy in the booth before Chris Cole (Mark Wahlberg) got there and he's like "long live... rock n' roll... long live... rock n' roll." I've seen that movie about 50 times and I die laughing everytime I hear that shit.

That's Ralph from the Atomic Punks actually with a wig on. Ralph actually has an exceptional voice, he was just doing that silly bad DLR shit for the movie.

It's actually Mike Matijevic not Mark and no the guy, to the best of my knowledge never went by the name Mike Steel. Though he was in the band Steelheart. He does have a great voice and would chew both Dave and Sammy up for breakfast as would Ralph.....well Ralph already does chew Dave up. Anybody who's seen Da Punkz knows dat.

It's takes more then being a great singer to be a rockstar Oh brother! Yeah just slap on some assless schaps and prance around like a Los Angeles Rams cheerleader while talking gibberish or wear some baggies with your blonde frizzy fro while saying "SHIT!" and "FUCK!" alot while talking about aliens molesting you. THAT is what makes a true rockstar huh

Melodicrock says that Mike has been writing songs with the guys from GNR Slash, Izzy, Duff, & Matt Sorum. He hasn't been named their singer yet, but it's more likely that he will be.
