I think it would be pretty safe to assume Sammy is jamming with VH.

"Planet Us" features some (relatively) well known musicians and the only other band that could best it would be VH.

If I remember correctly, DLR was working on a follow-up to "DLR Band" with Bart Walsh and Ted Templeman when it was ABORTED around the same time that DLR was rumored to be working with VH.

Anyone else wishing for Planet Us' demise?

I woul like to hear what Planet Us has to offer because it sounds like a great line-up, but if it means music from the BEST DAMN R&R BAND EVER...

The Planet Us thing is starting to sound a little odd.

I've been asking around and the only thing I can come up with is the report from Meliodicrock report that Sony withdrew their offer and now Plt. Us is on hold...

The ones made out of stone called "statues" -- occasionally came to life and rode off is a colonial cliche. How many more times do we need to hear about how the oppressive Raj's wore villainous black capes, crafted cunning plastic masks to impersonate people, and drained all the blood from their slaves so they could keep the fluid in bottles in their dungeons? I mean, YAWN!

But if you're willing to sit through this dry sort of historical drama one more time -- or even just this dry historical review -- you will not be disappointed. In fact, some of you might just learn something they didn't teach you in school!-

If sony yanked the offer to distibute PUS (no pun intended) project, then logic might dictate that conflict of interest could be the reason. I always wondered if Sony would be the group that offered up a better deal than Warner had to offer. A few years back Ed said that there was no one left at Warner that understood the band or even cared what was happening. It all sounds promising. The only thing that concerns me is the state of health that Ed may be in currently. If he is hitting the bottle in legendary form this might put a damper on any long term touring plans. But as usual "who knows what goes on in other peoples realities"

Journey released their latest EP on their own so you'd think that a withdrawn deal wouldn't stop Planet Us. Perhaps we've been reading Ed's comments at NAMM wrong. Maybe he's just taking a "Van Hagar" reunion slowly to make sure it won't come apart at the seams after one album/tour cycle. Ah, wishful thinking

Yeah, what's up with "US"?? I thought they were to be recording in the studio this month, but there are also reports of Sammy being in Cabo with Bob Weir?

I'd like to hear 'em first...then I'd like to see it fall on their face if it meant Sammy and VH would have another go at it.
Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a very large and moving Torb. Then of course in the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you.

Why would you want Planet Us to fall on its face when Van Hagar will simply fall on its face also. Although I might buy it if it includes a bottle of Sammy's tequila.
