Just how ABSOLUTELY PURE this is??? (btw, I'm about one post away from being permanetly banned from this place I understand )

I get these from time to time. Epiphany's. Sometimes you just think random thoughts and one of the many just kind of gels into something of perfection that can not be ignored. This very thing has happened this evening. An epiphany.

My last epiphany in regards to the great =VH=, was for David lee to come back to the boyz and do a single with Gwen Stephani from no doubt similar to what Moby did with her on south side. I even mentioned that she should be licking daves head like in that video. If you think about it, everything she touches right now is gold and it would be the perfect bridge to a newer generation that would bring the mighty vh back into the mainstream looking anything but old. They would come back looking fresh. Gwen would no doubt (no pun) benefit from it also, I'm sure. I'ts a win win....an epiphany. I digress...

I'm thinking new front man from an angle that simply has not been touched yet. I'm outside of the box on this one (and only half joking). In fact, it would fit better on the idea of the various artists concept of a cd, because realistically I could never see this happening on tour. lmao But...and bear with me...no shoes can fill DLR's, and I think we can all agree with that. Yes there are arguements about who's writing was better and all that SHIT, but as far as a frontman goes, there is no other to match....in the ROCK scene. Well...how about outside the rock scene? Everybody automatically goes to 80's singers as a place to look for a good fit for a new singer. Who from that era could ever replace the KING of that era and have both themselves and the fans feel good about it? Nobody. Ok, look elswhere and who can you think of that holds an equal talent with dlr in working a show/audience/ and energy level with that almost supernatural platform? Who has that magic?

    JAMES MUTHA FUCKIN BROWN BABY!!

Listen to a James Brown song sometime and tell me that there is no similarity in energy and emotion coming from him. Do it!! Go to winmx or whatever and download sex machine, or papas got a brand new bag and tell me you couldn't hear that completely halenized. Soooo much room for Ed to fill with. Or its a mans world. GET UP OFFA THAT THING!! OMG. I'ts perfect. Good GAWD Y'all!!

Fuck it. He's got the "high note", he's got the energy. HE IS THE NEGRO VAN HALEN OF THE WORLD. Listen to his stuff!! Hot pants, popcorn. Great tunes.

I dare you to download these songs and place van halens touch on them.

YOU ARE GUARENTEED TO LAUGH YOUR FUCKING ASS OFF. But it makes you feel GOOD. I FEEL GOOD...SO GOOD!! SOO GOOD. My gawd, they even have some of the same song titles that were hits. FEELS SO GOOD. How could our society of segregation put the blinders on so much that we could ignore this?!!? This could be the biggest revolution since the creation of the blues!! The fusion of the greatest in rock and the greatest in soul.

    VAN GODFATHER!!!!!

    epiphany..... Thank you. \

Interesting idea, but I doubt a singer in his 70's is going to be able to get the Lying Dutchmen off their asses.

And besides, there is no soul or blues in "Van Halen" without Dave, so he would be the only one considering James Brown anyway.

    Welcome back, Van HALEN!!!!

I dig JB'S sound. But I dont think that this will work. It might be cooler if Dave did a duet wih JB on a new solo album

    That would indeed be cool.

This is not conventional folks. WAY outta the box here. You have to think in to the future at how this would go down in history as a monumental moment in the history of music. This forces you to expand your imagination. Can you not see the FUNK??? Funk rock. Van Godfather. A household name that bridges the divisions of this country. Epiphany. Indeed.

Thinking straight outta the box that binds brotha!! The stereotypes, and images that you hold that surrounds a band and "this" band are the only thing holding you back from truly accepting it. You all know that deep down, deeeeeep down, this would work.
