What are big mistakes by the band..not counting breakups. I'm talking about decisions they have made on songs, videos and other things. Basically, what has pissed you off. Mine would be the videos for Balance. These pissed me off. That album had more potential than any of them. They blew it!

Diver Down. Way too many cover songs. They had so much original material they could have improved and included, but instead DD was half cover songs.

The way they promoted Balcance was a good one. Ray Danniels becoming their manager was a stupid choice. And the worst decision so far is this wait with nothing going on!!

Dave's decision to leave the band in 1985 springs immediately to mind.

I think releasing a double live cd, and a pretty bad one at that, touring for it, and wearing themselves for the Balance tour.

Now, I thought the '93 show was the most amazing thing I've ever seen/heard at a concert, but I think it was a BAD move.

I'd say the choice of singles for Balance.

Don't Tell Me rocks and CSLY makes sense because of past ballad success, but Not Enough is VERY questionable. Why not use something like Aftershock that might go somewhere on the rock charts and bring more street credibility to the album.

    In order from the beginning:

    1)Covering "You're No Good"
    2)Diver Down (Minus the originals)
    3)1996 VMA's
    4)Ray Daniels
    5)Opening for Bon Jovi
    6)VH III
7)Releasing the "Best Of" at that time
8)Eddie caliming that he and Gary are soul mates and if he is out, VH is done.

    One more major blunder:

The VH appearence on the Howard Stern Show on March of 1998. They were horrible from the beginning to end!

Your order is way off. It should be 4,5,3,7,6

And you forgot to mention somewhere in the middle the part about lying to David Lee Roth and their fans.

The last funny thing on Stern actually. If Eddie was sober that day, I'm Jesus Christ!
