OK - forget Eddie for this exercise.

If Dave did an allstar CD, who would you want to hear him performing tracks with?

I said once before I would love a blues track with Clapton on guitar.

How about a Joe Satriani track?

Maybe a duet with Erika Badu?

    Metallica?

    Pete Townshend?

This might be entertaining? Who knows?

Why would any of these people want to work with Dave? Santana brings an instantly identifiable guitar sound that has resonated with listeners since before Woodstock. Dave brings nothing musically but an outdated and tired persona. The only thing good about the "Sammy And Dave Show" on VH1 was seeing Dave talk like a NORMAL PERSON (from 1986). He needs to drop the act and get real and make record without the bullshit then build off of that. That would be interesting. I would buy that to check it out and I haven't bought a Dave record since ALAE. That's my opinion about Dave... and Santana is way over-rated.
