Just bought this new BOSS "Dual Peddle" box & WOW! It has EVERY Boss Overdrive/Distortion peddle ever made built right in, plus;
TUBE SCREAMER
FULL-D
DISTORTION PLUS
PRO-CO RAT (My fave all time peddle!)
MARSHALL GOVERNOR
ROCK MAN
BIG MUFF
FUZZ FACE
OCTIVE FUZZ
LOUD
STACK
LEAD
BOOST
CRUNCH
METAL
I've been messing with the 4 programable memories & have dialed in some amazing tones!
The VERY cool "Heavy Octave' feature allows you to dial in overtones on the low strings, like a mock droped tune, or 7th string. Using it at very small quantities sorta gives you that heavy Zakk tone!
This is one HELL of a box & I HIGHLY suggest that you check one out at your local shop ASAP!
Plstrcast everywhere else, Smudge NYC here.. so kiss my arse!

http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/smudgenyc

Are you referring to this: Boss GP20 Amp Factory Programmable Dual Pedal?

If you are, then that looks like a great pedal, especially for the money.

Just curious: zZounds.com is asking $119.95 for it (with an extra $3.99 fee for ground shipping--and it won't be back in stock until 9/01/02--which certainly shows that there is more than a little demand for it).

$119.95 certainly seems reasonable, since pedals with just one or two effects can easily cost as much or more. How much did you pay for yours? I'm interested in finding out how reasonable some of these online retailers are with their pricing.

Shoot! I didn't read the tread title.

You were talking about this:

Boss OD20 Drive Zone Twin Effects Pedal

Its price is $179.95 (with free ground shipping).

I guess I'll inquire as to how much you paid for the OD20, since you didn't buy the GP20.

I feel like Pippin Took from LOTR, where he goes: "Pints? They come in pints? ... I'm getting one!"

Thanks for the tip, SMUDGE NYC!
