Right after the intro of--hammer ons or tapping part Ed starts struming fast both up and down sounds like to me I know the cords but can't seem to ever play it smooth or clean. I am not talking about the cord changes just the strumming part Before the corus or class room part starts!

thanks for any help again! You guys are always helping me play VH better!!!

Duff, are you talking about the part after the opening riff, but before the actuall verse riff?
There's a series of double stops in there. Are those the ones you mean?

I don't know guitar lingo very well so its hard to describe the part, wish i could read the tabs!
Its the part right after Ed does the intro of 2 handed hammer-ons or tapping as some people call it. But Right BEFORE the main riff when you hear Dave talkin in the classroom! I can't seem to get those cords down and play it smooth. Ed is strumming fast kinda like the 80s Metallica (no compare to VH intended)

I have only been playin a few years so thats why I ask questions like this one!

It's a series of double stops, and it's easy, but you probably need someone to show you if you you know the notes, but can't play it smoothly.
No one can help you there. You just have to practice it till it's smooth. If you don't know where all the notes are, then email me and I'll write them down and send them to you.

Is There some double stops after the main riff in "Me Wise Magic"?
If they are they're also played pretty quick, but with practice, not to bad.....wel worth the effort!!.....

Just a matter of practice to mute that F# cleanly. The chords aren't too hard at all, just a matter of technique.
