I've never had a complaint about my Dunlop Crybaby. It's the first pedal I ever bought and has never found it's way out of the loop.

I have a vox reissue. It has more "Wah" at the low end which is what I was looking for. I found the Cry Baby's to sound thin.

Here listen to me. I spent a whole weekend going to every guitar store to look for a wah wah pedal. I tried out everyone...from the most expensive to the cheapest pieces of crap available. Dunlop crybabys are not a good wah.....they just dont sound like a wah wah pedal. I tried morelys and the bad horsie....nope not wah enough for me.
So i played some more. I finally tried a vox....its great.....then a budda wah. The budda wah sounds like a wah wah pedal should sound like. If you play guitar and need a wah look no further than the budwah...plain and simple its the best wah. I can play my wah and it sounds idenicle to claptons, vais, hendrixs, van halens, and hammett. Trust me this is the one to get. from playing so many wahs this one simply stood out!!!!!!!!Try it out you wont be disapointed ...try out the crybabies and listen for the difference. The budwah ia about 150.00. i recommend a cable for it so you dont need the 2 9v batteries. GET THE BUDDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ITS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

EVH, how can the budda sound exactly like Vai? He uses a Bad Horsie.
The BH's great because it gives you a transparent wah. It doesn't change the sound of your guitar, but still gives you that full wah without sqealing and humming.
    Naturallywired, you've got good taste..lol

Vai used the Budda Wah before he developed the Bad Horsie. I even remember seeing on his pedalboard in a magazine.

I know this is an old topic...but I just ordered a Budda wah. Should be getting it mid week. My cry baby is beat to all hell and ready to be put into retirement. I'm looking forward to the budda...

Cool!!!! The wah sounds better if you dont use a distortion pedal. I have a DOD distortion and it some times losses its edge with the wah...maybe its just the DOD.

Well I have a Digitech multi-effects processor. Not the best effects but they sound pretty good. I use the phase, and the Wah off there, and every so often a Flange. I also use it to alter my amp sound a little, make it a little sharper.
