I own two guitars both with D-Tunas. However, I can't get one guitar to tune properly....

    I tune it to a D
Then push in the Tuna and tune to E...here's the problem....The "set screw" does NOT come OUT far enough...My E is always sharp when I push it In. So the set Screw needs to come out farther to be in TUNE...What can I do???I mean it will pop out if I unscrew it any farther.

It's not floating...it's stable. I'm going nuts. I have an email to the DTuna techs, but no reply yet.

    Thanks

Sometimes mine gets set in the dropped position kind of wierd and I have to reset it.
You are supposed to loosen your fine tuner knob all the way out then tighten it about ONE turn before tuning to D. Maybe the fine tuner knob is screwed in too far initially. You are also supposed to keep the D-Tuna lubed.
Is it a Wolf, Music Man or did you buy the D-Tuna as an add-on?

I have them on two Warmouth(Music Man)guitars. So I bought them seperately.I tried the fine tuner thing and it just won't work. Even when I loosen the "set screw" the string is still sharp...Thanks for the tips!
