Hey guys! We were just added to mp3.com a couple days ago. If you wouldn't mind, go to this link and take a listen. Let me know what you think!

http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/423 sea_of__souls.html

I used a couple Marshall JMPs (1978 50 and 100 watts), a Mesa Dual Rectifier, and a Bogner Ecstasy 101B.

"Dumb" has a modern heavy kind of solo.
"Know Better" is kinda "Black Crowes-ish"

and several other songs. . .

If you like cool, rock music, check out REVERY. We've put out two albums, and an EP. We were signed back in '06 and toured the US (our single Popstar Wedding was all over the radio back then). Our latest album, Adora De Phonic is available on Itunes, Amazon, etc.

Good stuff bro!

I really liked Just After Never.

Cool tone in the lead line of Know Better.

Nice verse layering in Dimestore Superfly. Sound wet in a good way

Is that real sitar in Mistakes?

Thanks Homeunit.

The sitar is a Jerry Jones electric sitar. We layered about 6 tracks of solos and let them all blend at the same level. . .kinda bubbly sound.

The layering sound on Dimestore is really just the way the chord is played. . .an inverted 5th with descending notes played separately. I did click on my Boss CE-2 chorus for that part.

The Know Better solo is a 1978 100 watt Marshall JMP with a tubescreamer.

Check out the solo on Dumb. That's my Bogner with a wah pedal.

Thanks for the comments. Anybody else?
