The cost tends to be outrageous which explains why most rockstars play them and very little "normal" people do. If I could afford one I'd play one but then again I can get a pretty decent tone outta my Marshall and I'd rather just keep things as they are. Gotta love the Marshall..

I gotta Peavey Studio Pro, with a Digitech RP100, and I really don't like either that much. I can't wait til I can afford a new amp, and some decent pedals!

You should not pay more than about $1700 for a triple rectifier and about $900 for a Dual.

If you like cool, rock music, check out REVERY. We've put out two albums, and an EP. We were signed back in '06 and toured the US (our single Popstar Wedding was all over the radio back then). Our latest album, Adora De Phonic is available on Itunes, Amazon, etc.

I think HomeUnit was referring to Canadian dollars. To convert U.S. To canadian you multiply by 1.6 on the average so 10.U.S. is approx. 16. Canadian.
I talked to a guy here last night who's decided to sell his triple rectifier. He's got a dual and a triple and he said the triple was too expensive to run with the no. of tubes it needs so he's offing it and keeping the dual.

I have a few questions what would be better, money is not an issue the dual or the triple? Do they sound the same does one get more crunch because of volume. Also do you recommend the matching cab? And can it get that pantera sound or zakk wylde, that what im looking for.PANTERA!!!!!!!!!

Ricks right, if you want db's sound, you need solid state stuff. DB sound works well for Pantera but in actuality I think it sounds like shit, but that's just me

The triple has 3 channels each with 2 stages, and the dual has 2 channels.

READ THE OWNERS MANUAL from the web site. It explains all of the options, (volage regulation, tube selection etc)

The triple is everything the dual is with an extra channel and some other stuff, so it follows that the triple is better, if you want versitility.

Matching cabs is a personal thing. The Mesa Engineering cabs rule. They are the best, most consistant cabs I've ever used. But in Canada they're $1100.00, so I'll just find an old Marshall cab to go with mine.

If you can afford it, buy it. You'll never be able to blame your gear for sounding like shit! lol They hold their value, and are sturdy, road worthy paices of gear. It won't make you a better player but it will make what you play sound the best it possibly can.

That's just my opinion. I would NEVER buy something of this value (except a certain puple piece ) without playing the hell out of it, just to make sure it'll work for your application. To get Zakkes sound this will definatly do it to the point of it being like bringing a nucular missle to a knife fight
