Lets see if I get some before Prof Rol stops by.

1. 3m striping tape(different sizes avail)
2. Black and White krylon paint(if going the spary paint way)
3. Multiple pictures of the guitar(different angles) find in old mags, webpages
4. sand/sealer if starting with an unsealed body
5. Alot of patience

I would also use the pickguard screw holes as reference points to make sure the strips on the body are in the same place

First start off with a black base then tape and paint white.

I am at work sorry if I missed some.

the only thing I'd correct here is the 3M tape, on the first guitar there was only 2 sizes of main stripes 3\4" and 1\8" so you just need one roll of 3M blue tape, or 3M fineline tape for the 1\8" , the 3\4" you can use regular old electrical tape , matter of fact if you have patience you can take long strips of the electrical tape and cut it to the
1\8" width and save yourself $8-$10.
there are a few oddball shaped stripes on that guitar that need to be hand cut anyway such as the squiggly above the pickguard here is how to do that:

put a piece of electrical tape (the correct length) on a glass plate, take a pencil or pen and draw out the shape on the electrical tape do it over and over till you get it right then talke an exacto and cut it out and presto you have a mask . anymore help just ask.

unless you have $300 or so for a cheap gun and compessor and another hundred or so for paint, powder dye, hardner, accelorator etc etc just use krylon gloosy black and glossy white, you take the gloss off of it with steel wool when your done, that paint will not go anywhere and it will be just like the original
