Well I do know that Edward used his 5150 Kramer on some things on that album, but I don't know exactly what tunes.

According to Guitar World Presents: Guitar Legends, the Complete Van Halen, Matt Bruck is quoted:

"Right after the band recorded the first track, 'Judgment Day', the Music Man prototypes began arriving."

So, it looks like the Kramer was used for "JD".

"Poundcake" had the EBMM and a 12-string Roger Giffin, doubled underneath.

"Runaround" was a red Fender Tele.

"316" was a Chet Atkins acoustic solid body steel-string guitar.

"Pleasure Dome" was EBMM w/ a Steinberger trem.

"Top of the World" was the Gibson Flying-V that Ed used on "Hot for Teacher".

All other songs were the EBMM prototypes and finished guitars.
