    The Pandora PX3..
Wanted something to jam along with CD's, & just use as a headphone amp... This little guy is feature packed! I only had enough time to run through the factory presets last night, & they where quite impressive! I'm going to mess with it tonight & put it through it's paces. I was on the edge of getting a POD, but I'll never use it for what it's really ment for anyway, & you cant jam along with it. I HIGHLY recomend this toy!

    Good for you!
    How much is the Box?
I use my POD to jam along with songs, but have to go through Pro Tools with the computer. I guess your system is more self-contained.
    Tell us more about it.

Exactly! "Self contained" was what I wanted. You know, something to mess with while the girlfriend is sleeping, or when you want to rip it up at 2am, but dont want the neighbors calling the cops.. lol. I'll give a real review after i program some stuff into it.

I am trying to decide between a Pandora PX4 and a POD 2.0 myself. I really want to get the best quality sound I can. Right now I have a DOD GS-30 and a Zoom 505, but they are both noisy as hell. I've tried to direct into my sound card and it sounds terrible if I record it unless I turn the gain way down and then it lacks the crunch I want. I think it would be cool to have the self-containment of the PX4, but then again, I have my current rig hooked up to the line in on my SoundBlaster Live and out to an Aiwa 100x2 watt home stereo receiver driving two Bose 301's. I always have the ability to use my headphones and just turn the speaker output off on the front of the receiver. I'm kind of leaning towards the POD, but perhaps you can change my mind..

WOW!!! HOLYFUCKINGFUCK!!! What kind of Twilight Zone am I living in? What kind of Viagra-Testosterone mix are these 50 year old + guys on? I never thought I'd hear another Dave and Eddie album again. If I did, I thought it would be a mid-paced affair like the Rolling Stones or later day AC/DC. After the TATTOO single I was ready for a poppy album from old guys, with a few nods to harder rock (She's A Woman and Bullethead) and I would have been happy with that.

I NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE GETTING A FULL-THROTTLE HARD ROCK, HEAVY METAL, BALLS TO THE WALL, FUCKING VAN HALEN THRASH METAL ALBUM!!!

Well, I was really thinking about the POD, but I'll NEVER use it for recording. I really wanted a sef contained jam along thingy. I do know that you can go direct, but the POD has all the modeling features for that. There are Plenty of awesome sounds in the Pandora, & the fact that you can program your own sounds is a big plus too.. Gonna really have to play with it before I can rave about it though.. so far, it's right on the money.

i'm leaning toward a POD too, but i can run it through one channel of my mixer, and the CD or computer through the other, or both through the power amp and monitors...

Mine's a 3, but the 4 looks very cool. I'd get either/or. I've already programed several awesome presets

Damn. I thought that this thread was about blowup dolls. Guess I haven't figured you out yet.

Nonethelessiveness, the Pandora line has some pretty fun stuff in it. Have a Blast, PlasterCast (hmmm...sounds like a song...)!
