Does anybody else think that the Samick Fastback is a Wolfgang ripoff?

ya know, there is only so much a guitar designer can do now without looking like another guitar, unless you design a guitar that has some extreme radical shape that's shaped like an Elephant with a hat or something it's gonna look like another guitar, the EVHMM was designed from a tele\Paul combination, the PRS is a Gibson double cutaway, the Jackson, charvel and Kramer are just modified Strats and think about it, Les Pauls and Strats are the 2 base shapes that just about any guitar was ever designed from.

It looks like a combination between the EBMM and Wolfgang. I kinda like it. Well you can still see how much impact EVH has on guitar design!

I agree. It's probably very affordable as well.
Everyone's always saying how affordable the Korean wolf is.
I bet quality wise, the Samick is just as good.

I think the Blues Saraceno TV 20 actually came out before the Wolfgang. I've got a TV 20, and it's a pretty damn cool guitar for what it is. Oh course, I put 2 Blues Trembuckers in it as the stock pickups weren't that great.

However, I don't think the Fastback looks THAT much like a Wolfgang.

A lot of other guitars look like Strats and Les Pauls, too.

    Rol.
    so
I agree with Rol 100% on this.
I also think it's pretty crappy the way Gibson sued PRS over their Singlecut model. You don't see Fender suing every company that makes a guitar that looks like a Strat, do you?

That guitar was also released in 1992... making it much older than the Wolfgang.

I don't know if lawsuits have happened, but Fender has started enforcing their headstock design.

How'd you like the Blues pickups? I'm thinking of getting my Custom 5 rewound to Blues specs.
