There is a device made for flying Vs and Randy Rhodes flying Vs that you hook to the bottom of them so you can play sitting down? It is arch shaped to be like the bottom a of the guitar and fit your leg. If I just imagined it I will have to go make one at my cousin’s wood shop. Cause damn it is a good Idea. I would buy an RR flying V if there was one cause I like it but I play sitting down a lot.

Steinberger makes something that will do the same thing. Its a folding leg rest that attaches to the guitar, they are sold out right now at MusicYo but they should be back in stock soon, clickhere

i'm a pretty big V-shaped guitar fan and haven't heard of this....It does get a bit uncomfortable at times doesn't it? although i'm usually ok cuz i have my own way of holding it against my body with my knees, variation on what most people do...

Wouldn't you buy if it was avalable? Me too. I don't think that Stienberger thing would work though. But what I'm thinking of is bigger and more solid than that. SOmthing that hooks around the body of the guitar to the top(to keep it on I just figured out that is how it would work if I decided to make one cause I might have to)

It's made to hold the L and P series guitars while sitting down. The P series Steinberger is a mini flying v shape. I'm confused about why you don't think it will work.

I just thinking of the different thickness of the guitars. I'm not sure how the leg works so I'm not saying it wouldn't I'm just not sure.

I don't think I would get it. Its not that bad once I'm playing. but maybe...I don't really play my V's sitting down, thats a job for my explorers or strats....

Not A V-Player myself but I do remember seeing something like that for the V way back in the 1970's. Been around for awhile. Mabey not this same design but the concept at least. I&SS
