I'm sure this topic has been discussed before, but bear with me.I'm kinda new to the forums.
I recently purchased what would make a killer 5150 copy.the only problem is the flip flop red finish.what I need to do is remove the finish down to the sealer, and start over. When I made my frankie,I sanded it off(the paint). What a pain in the ass. What I need to know,is there a better way to do it?I know some of you guys have made killer copys, and i need some advice.

    Rock On!

    Hi,

If it's a factory gloss coat finish the only good way to do it is a heat gun with a scraper that;s the only thing that works, but on the other hand
you could always just buy a body from www.greggrodgersguitars.com and yuo'll be ready to start sealing and painting it however you want
    Rol.

    Rock On!
