How's the sound difference? Is there one?

Action? Neck feel? etc.

Looking to possibly get one, but not sure if I can afford the USA made versions....

Any help is useful. Thanks!

All the above! The neck, finish, trem, tuners, all cheaper. It is not a Wolfgang in my opinion. I was actually shocked when I played one that Ed even put his name on it.

This has been discussed tons here. I'm sure you can pull up an old thread.

Peace!

nah no one would ever ask $4 - $600 for a Squire
Look one thing alot of people think is that if it's not expensive it's not good and most of the time that is true, in the past it's definatly true but things coming from overseas now are getting better and better .
It's all up to you you can get a used Wolf for what you would pay new for a Korean model, but have you played either yet ?? if you like the Korean and you find a used one you can save nore $$ yet.
If you don't play professionally or gig i.e. you sit on the couch and play the korean would do just fine if that's what *you* want.
my 2 cents

Thanks very much, Rol!

I actually had an opportunity to play a used US made Wolf in the Guitar Center about 4 months ago. They were asking for around $1100 for it used. Nice guitar (black gloss), but you could tell it had been put thru the paces. I dig the LP/Strat hybrid shape. I haven't been able to find anything else similar that feels that good. It had good tone to it as well, just a little out of my price range @ the moment, & since I'm not a gigging musician (yet) I'll give the Korean ones a spin & see how they compare
