Just let me add to this, yes they work just as Tribb says *but* they can scratch your top if you not carefull with it, or if you try to use it with the fine tuner engaged.

</font>[/QUOTE]They can also ding the wood. I have used them on two maple top guitars and a basswood wolf. The basswood wolf has a dent under the d-tuna from engaging it carelessly.

After Eddie invented/designed/produced his first one, he installed it on one of his EBMMs.

The D-Tuna pre-dates his guitar-related work with Peavey.

He first used the d-tuna on the balance tour on his ebmms. Peavey bought the rights to it when he switched to peavey guitars.

yep I said it still worked but I thought he might wanna know he may scratch or dent the top of a collectable guitar I too had foolishly done this in the past, I build my new ones with a trench underneath so that can't happen and that is where I got the idea from.

I have an EBMM that I switched to a real Floyd on the advice from a friend that distributes Floyds and D-Tunas. The top of the Floyd is flat vs. the Gotoh which is angled back a smidge which inhibits the movement of the D-Tuna....or at least makes you have to push down farther to get under that lip. This will occasionally cause a dent in the top if you're not careful.

My D-Tuna works like 'buttah' since I switched to the Floyd. Try it!
