Does anyone have any good patch settings? Like for a good VH sound or to recommend any settings that you use?

This is how mine is set through a clean amp... Volume at 12 o'clock, Low all the way up. High at 3 o'clock. Middle all the way, Mid Freq at 10 o'clock. Distortion at 4 o'clock. My MT2 is sandwiched between my wha peddle and phaser.

The only palatable sound I could ever muster out of that Metal Zone pedal was Traci Gunn's *cocked and loaded* "Never Enough" pseudo-Marshall tone.

Sort of a "rubbery" sounding distortion, iznit?

    Good Luck!

Rubbery is a decent description, but I found it to be more "transparent" in a live setting. Just totally lost the guitar in the mix. I only played out once with it before returning to my Rat. I have since replaced all my distortion peddles with the Boss OD-20, EXCELENT peddle!

I admit the distortion is a bit "rubbery". I've kinda been shoppin' around for a new distortion/gain pedal. I was psyched about the Soldano GTO but when I heard the sound clips I wasn't too impressed. I've been meaning to try some of the Boss OD pedals. Any recommendations?

...Dammit I should just buy a 5150. I'm hesitant to buy if off of Ebay, and I don't want to buy a 5150II retail when it doesn't have too many significant improvements over the Mark 1, (I'm not concerned about no clean channel, I've got a Fender that will do that fine).

I played CaboKid's 5150, and had my Boss MT 2 settings mimick the amp to the "T" on my Fender amp... Just my opinion, but look before you leap

I'm seriously thinking about trying out the OD-20 because I've heard nothing but good things about it. Hopefully Guitar Center has it so I can test it without having to buy first.
