I don't know if any of you old timers, like me, have seen this guitar, but it sure does look familiar. "whaddya mean brownie?" Well, too me it looks like Peavey has rehashed an old signature guitar they had in the 80's...namely the Adrian Vandenberg model. If I remember correctly, the body of the Vandenberg was EXACTLY the same as this one. I don't have a pic of the Vandenberg scanned, but when I dig back through 20 or so years of guitar mags, I'm sure I'll find one for comparison.

    Here's a link to the V-type. Peavey V-Type guitar

I found a pic of Adrian's signature Peavey....I knew I wasn't seeing things. I'm only posting a link, because I don't want to waste Brett's bandwidth, and I didn't want to dig through 20 years of guitar mags. LOL

Yep thats the Vandenberg. Apparently Peavey listens to their customers, because there have been people at their guitar forum asking for that guitar back, and well... they got it. I guess the guitar isn't being endorsed by Mr. Vandenberg anymore so Peavey called it the V Type. Also a plus it's available in more conservative colors than "Rock-It Pink".
